A-HA IN CONCERT

A-ha has a fantastic international career that spanned nearly three decades of making pop music history. Nine studio albums with sales between 35 to 70 million units, including singles. 15 singles in the top ten places in the United Kingdom only. Nominations, awards and multiple world tours, including the legendary show at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, which won the Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a concert of payment – by the enormous amount of 196 000 people!

In the mid-80s, the Norwegian trio generated hysteria juvenile and general mayhem wherever they perform. Since its reorganization in 1999, after a gap of seven years, the band has been to divert the focus of the phenomenon that were once known to the musical legacy they left behind, inspiring a generation of artistic taste today, from Coldplay and Keane, Kanye West, Oasis, The Strokes, Robbie Williams and even U2. 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the debut album by a-ha, ‘Hunting High & Low’ and her first single “Take On Me ‘that came with the help of a truly memorable video was placed as number one in 27 countries the world, including the United States.

The band will have one last world tour in 2010, ending its collaboration with a great finish. The last concert in our country will take place on 14 and October 15 in Madrid and Barcelona.
