CULTURE, HANIDCRAFT AND TOURISM OF MALI

For the third consecutive year, Mali will release its ancient culture and wisdom of their craft to its citizens that will visit the 3rd Fair of Crafts, Culture and Tourism “DiscoverMali,” from 27 June to 10 July. The exhibition official opening is on Wednesday 29 June.

Ten of the stands will be dedicated to the craft fair. These items are on sale objects while they can see practical demonstrations of the work of artisans inMali, following a tradition that comes from far away. The craft holds 40% of the workforce in trades such as leather, the trimmings, jewellery, wrought iron, sculpture, making musical instruments, textiles and articles of pearls. The offer is completed with a tent that will be informed about tourism inMali.

Coinciding with the exhibition, there are many organized activities. On June 30, at 7 pm, the forum “Mali, a country of business opportunities” will be held in the “Sala de Cotxeres”. There will intervene Mali’s Ambassador in Spain, Gassou Cissé, President of Mali House, Carmen Mendoza, director of the mining company Mabamin-Mali, Jordi Roca, and professor at the Universityof Barcelona, ​​Jordi Traseras. Other activities scheduled at the Palau Robert are exhibition “Faces of Mali,” of the photographer Vincent de Groot, 30th of July to June 4th, the projection of the film Mali, July 1st, at 7 pm and the concert group Tunuktu Music Project, on July 4th, at 7 pm.
