Over a hundred snapshots published in the magazine of photographers such as Sebastião Salgado, Nan Goldin or Lee Friedlander can now be seen in an exposition at the Palau Robert.

If there has been a reference publication of contemporary photography this is The New York Times Magazine. You will check it if you visit the exposition “The New York Times Magazine.Photographs.” at the Palau Robert. Find more than one hundred thirty snapshots, representing thirty-years history of the magazine.

Specifically, you can see the work of 35 teachers of the camera, that span generations as different as photojournalism, fashion reportages or conceptual photography. Do not miss the work of Nan Goldin, Lee Friedlander, Philip Lorca di Corcia, Jeff Koons, Sebastião Salgado, Annie Leibovitz and Andres Serrano.

The exposition of “The New York Times Magazine Photographs.” is a reflection on the nature of photography and the role of the magazines at a crucial moment in history and the evolution of the printed edition.
