dipositThis modernist water tank, in the old Can Mario cork factory, has become an identifying symbol of Palafrugell. In 2000, thanks to a popular initiative it was declared Cultural Heritage of National Interest due to its structure and artistic value that is uncommon in this kind of construction. This water tank is located in the village of Palafrugell, in the Costa Brava, a 120km north from Barcelona.

Visit the interpretation centre to discover its history and go out onto the terrace, some 30m high where you can enjoy a privileged panoramic view of Palafrugell and Empordanet. After visiting the water tank you can also visit the beautiful beaches of Llafranc, Tamariu and Calella that belong to Palafrugell.
