barcelino toursMedieval tours for children: Long before our parents and grandparents lived, there were people living here…How did they live? Do you know what sort of plate medieval people used to eat from? Do you want to see where the Barcelonese people would go to for sharpening their knives? Do you want to see the oldest fountain of Barcelona? Let’s do the time travel into medieval worlds in Europe biggest medieval part of town and look for bulls, crowns and unicorns and legends of Barcelona between the years 500 and 1500. It is important to know about the past to understand today. In groups no larger than 10 children, we’ll find out about this together. Our goal is: you having fun while seeing interesting sights and learning something new! Our meeting point is in front of the Cathedral. Here we start the one-hour tour of the Gothic Quarter. The tour is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 but adults are welcome too!
Medieval tours for adults: In addition to the existing Medieval Worlds tour for children, Barcelino offers their exciting Gothic Quarter tours (with guides in medieval costume) for groups of adolescents or adults. You will see where the people of Barcelona would go to sharpen their knives, see the oldest fountain in Barcelona and learn how medieval criminals were made to pay for their crimes. You will learn about many of the legends of Barcelona between the third and fifteenth centuries.
