THE MUSEUM OF WORLD CULTURES OF BARCELONA
The Museum of World Cultures of Barcelona shows its visiting public the cultural and artistic diversity of different cultures from Africa, Asia, America and Oceania.
It shows cultural diversity through the artistic experience of people from a multidisciplinary perspective and it is a platform of dissemination and social projection of the heritage and knowledge of other cultures in the world. As a public body, it promotes the social projection, dissemination, educational and participative use in order to become a space of knowledge, dialogue and debate, placing the collections, contents and resources at the service of the public.
The Museum of World Cultures of Barcelona preserves, restores, manages, investigates, disseminates and presents objects of the artistic and cultural heritage of diverse non-western peoples in order to discover them.
