“THE SCRIPT” IN CONCERT

February 26, 2015

The Script is an Irish pop rock band formed in 2001.  Based in London after signing to Sony Label Group imprintthescript Phonogenic, the band released their eponymous debut album in August 2008, featuring the hit songs “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)“. The album peaked at number one in Ireland and the UK. Their second album, Science & Faith, was released in September 2010, and contains the hit songs “For the First Time” and “Nothing“. The album peaked at number one in Ireland and the UK, and number three on the US Billboard 200. Their third album, #3, peaked at number one in Ireland and the UK, containing the hit song “Hall of Fame“, in collaboration with hip hop artist Will.I.Am. In 2014, they released their fourth album No Sound Without Silence which peaked at number one and spawned the hit single “Superheroes“. The album has been described by O’Donoghue as a prequel to their debut album, with many of the songs being recorded on the road, after playing in sold out arenas. On the recording process, Danny O’Donoghue stated, “We’d come off stage and start recording straight away in a studio bus. Everything’s massive, everything’s larger than life on stage so when we hit the studio we wanted it to have that same impact.”  The album was released on September 15, 2014.

With only two concerts in Spain; they’re going to visit Barcelona first on March 30th and then next day they will do their show at Barclaycard Center in Madrid.
